Learn about one of our $15 Million Equitable Mobility Challenge grant projects: EV carsharing. We recognize that public transit isn’t ideal for every kind of trip people need to take, such as when they have to transport something large or bulky, or if they have to stop at multiple locations during a journey. And some areas don’t have good access to public transit. A low-cost EV carsharing program can help fill that gap. Mobility Development Operations is using its grant to expand its services in four Michigan cities as well as add service in new areas.
