An employee in this class, under the general supervision of the Transit Supervisor, operates all transit vehicles in a safe and reliable manner for the Muskegon Area Transit System. A Bus Operator answers customer questions, reports problems to supervisory personnel, instructs new employees in the proper operation of vehicles and departmental procedures, drives transit vehicles for special charter operations, and performs related duties as required
