People's Express, a non-profit paratransit agency based in Whitmore Lake, Washtenaw County, Michigan, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a Transit Needs Assessment for Washtenaw County. The anticipated project timeline is approximately eight to ten months from contract execution. Attached is our Request for Proposals, which outlines the scope of work, project expectations, and submission requirements. Proposals must be submitted via email no later than Friday, April 17, 2026 at 2:00pm.

Benzie Transportation Authority (BTA) is the public transit provider for Benzie County, Michigan. We provide demand-response transportation, non-emergency medical transportation, and mobility management services. BTA receives state and federal funding through MDOT and is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board is seeking a qualified facilitator to provide governance training. This request is intended to gather options for Board consideration. Any engagement will require Board approval.

The Transit Systems Manager, under the administrative direction of the Community Development Director, directs thedevelopment, operation, and maintenance of the Muskegon Area Transit System, a County wide public transportationsystem. This employee supervises personnel engaged in the operation of the Muskegon Area Transit System and isresponsible for the ongoing development and improvement of the transit system.
