People’s Express RFP for Operations Fleet Management Software and On-Board Camera Solution
People’s Express (PEX) is a nonprofit public transportation provider operating in Livingston, Oakland, and Washtenaw Counties, as well as the City of Detroit. We operate a door-to-door demand response service seven days a week. We also provide specialized service for non-emergency medical transportation for seniors and people with disabilities. Annually, we provide approximately 240,000 rides. Our fleet consists of approximately 126 vehicles, consisting of sixteen (16) small buses, fifty-nine (59) full-size transit vans, forty (40) minivans, and ten (11) sedans.
PEX has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit responses from qualified proposers offering comprehensive operations fleet management software and camera solutions. While integrated platforms are preferred, PEX may consider separate solutions provided they meet all functional, security, and operational requirements outlined in this RFP. The intent of this RFP is to identify a proposer that can provide an integrated, scalable platform to support PEX’s diverse fleet operations, including maintenance tracking, asset management, vehicle diagnostics, and on-board camera systems. The proposed solution should enhance safety, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making across PEX’s fleet.
