2026 Michigan Transit Legislative Day at the Capitol

2026 Michigan Transit Legislative Day at the Capitol

Thursday, March 12, 2026 (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

The Transit Legislative Day at the Capitol brings together leaders from local public transportation agencies as well as other partners to advocate for state policies and funding that support increased transit services and access. The program features refresher training on legislative advocacy, a legislative breakfast, updates from key policymakers, and time for individual or group meetings with legislators. This program is open to any Michigan transit staff, regardless of association membership.

Program Registration:

  • $100 for individuals, $75 discounted rate before February 13. Registration fees help offset costs of hosting the legislative breakfast and other expenses.
